What made you realize you wanted to be a writer?

The idea of magic had always been fascinating to me. I always seemed to search for ways to include even the smallest bit of magic into everything I do. As soon as I learned to read, I fell in love with it. Eventually, I learned to combine my two loves into the realist form of magic: writing. My favorite part of writing is not only the ability to escape reality with the simple swish of a pen, but just the simplicity of creating my own world with it.
